”Port Pirie & District Tennis Association (PPDTA) Port Pirie & District Tennis Association is located in the heart of the Mid North region at Port Pirie. The stunning lower Flinders Ranges provides a backdrop for the 15-hardcourt complex. Summer competition is currently played on Friday nights from 6pm, with casual women's tennis on Wednesday nights. The Association has been the home of Port Pirie's International Protour tournaments for women for 25 years and in 2001 we saw this expand to include the men's competition. During this time we have seen many international stars play on our courts in their rise to tennis stardom, including Alicia Molik, Daniel Hobart, Mathew Barton, and more recently Arina Rodionova, Barbara Haas and Casey Dellacqua. The Tennis Centre's hall has capacity for up to 200 guests (100 seated) with kitchen and bar facilities, plus an outdoor undercover area and playground which make it the ideal location to hire for your next party or celebration.
